This is a painting of Glynis Johns, [the Mom in the original Mary Poppins movie] -- However,  most of the portrait -- face, hair and more -- is made up of thousands of hand-placed micro gems.
The jacket is paper mosaic made from many different plaids - with metallics and gems, and a painted background.
Truly one of a kind. I have this "thing" for Scotland, I'm mad for plaid.
