As always, Sandhi starts with an original painting on canvas; and hand cuts hundreds or thousands of "tiles" from her collection of junk mail. Each piece of paper is cut to fit like a mosaic.
Back to Black portrays Amy Winehouse. This work is also embellished with a circles of black ink.
