After a trip to Japan, Sandhi used some of her resource photos to create a paper mosaic portrait of some of the young women on Harajuku street.
The paper mosaic is made from junk mail and Christmas cards [the background is all metallic inks and papers, reminiscent of the rising sun]
Decorated with a selection of items from Sandhi's personal collection; barretttes, hair toys, jewelry, rhinestones, toys, a crown, etc... this one of a kind work is striking and fun!
