Water, Water, Everywhere... and not a drop to drink is a mixed media treastice on how waste [paper, plastic, etc.] is ruining the environment - through Sandhi's artivism practice. For over 20 years, Sandhi, a pioneer in green fine art is using artistic expression to promote social and environmental change.This work is on a hand painted canvas. Sandhi, utilizing her signature technique of creating paper mosaics from junk mail - assembled paper and hand cut each "wave" to create the illusion of moving water. She upcycled glass cabochon beads in various sizes to mimic bubbles of water or foam on the waves. Each area is also highlighted with glittering and iridescent materials.
